The Company
- Our client is a corrugated box plant in Leicestershire.

Main responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Site Manager and working 7am – 4pm, the successful candidate will be managing the plant’s case makers (flexo-folder-gluers), which are on a rotating 3-shift system – 5 days a week.
- Liaise with clients.
- Ensure that product is made correctly, first time and on-time.
- Drive and deliver continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
- Manage the planned preventative maintenance programme.
- Impart product knowledge and lean manufacturing best practice to colleagues.
- React positively to problems – ensuring that the root cause is identified and corrective action put in place.
- Deliver budgeted KPIs in terms of feeds per shift, set up times and quality in terms of returns and waste.
- Purchase inks, stereos and dies - smoothly and within budgeted levels.
The Person Profile for Case Maker Supervisor:
The key experience and knowledge requirements for the role:
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience managing corrugated case makers (i.e. flexo-folder-gluers) in an integrated box plant.
- Excellent knowledge of setting up a case maker, printing and die cutting in-line.
- Fluency with lean manufacturing best practice.
- Good housekeeping skills.
