Job title: Graduate Trainee (Sales)

Package: £18-20,000 per annum salary, uncapped performance-related bonus scheme, fully funded company car, company pension, laptop computer and mobile phone.

Location: Ideally living within 30 minutes of travelling distance of Harlow. The sales area will cover:  anything within the M25 (initially with a focus on North London); North Kent and the Purfleet / Grays area of Essex

The Company

Our client is a successful, independent manufacturer of corrugated packaging.

The Role

The main challenges of the role are:

• Utilise the training programme that will be provided to learn about the company & its products and prepare for the sales role that will follow.
• Develop new business from scratch.
• Manage the cost to serve to these key clients, and enhance margins.
• Deliver a growth plan to annually gain £250,000+ of new business in years one and two; hence entering year three with £500,000+ in annual revenues.

Main responsibilities include:

• Learn about our product, our company and our processes.
• Developing profitable new business in line with the company strategy.

The Person

The key experience and knowledge requirements for the role:

• Educated to graduate level with obvious business acumen.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office and good keyboard skills.

The key personal behaviours and attitudes required for the role are:

• Strong influencing  / negotiating skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and bags of motivation.
• A team-player with a passion.
