Job title: Sales Co-ordinator (Packaging Division)

Remuneration: £14 to £16k Basic depending on Experience + £4k OTE.  

Location: Mansfield.

The Company

• ·         Our client is a leading Nottinghamshire based packaging merchant supplying corrugated cartons, polythene, strapping, adhesive tape and the Jiffy range of products to local industry.
• ·         This varied and busy office based role would suit someone with customer service or sales experience in the packaging Industry.

The Role

• ·         The main challenges of the role are:
  • o   Booking appointments and support the external sales representative for the area.
  • o   Manage a large number of existing accounts and the associated customer service, including:  dealing with enquiries and processing orders via telephone/email; ability to follow up quotes.
  • o   Cold-calling prospective customers with a view to providing quotations.
  • o   Build a business relationship with these clients.
  • o   Experience of Sage would be helpful although not essential.
  • o   This is an office based role supporting the external sales rep for the area. Hours - 8.30am to 5pm, Mon to Fri.

The Person

• ·      Good telephone and communication skills are essential;
• ·      Preferably someone who has experience of the packaging industry;
• ·      Strong influencing  / negotiating skills;
• ·      Innovation

• ·      Attention to detail;
