Job title: Flat bed die cut Operative
Remuneration: circa £20k pa (Remuneration commensurate with experience)
Location: West Midlands

Our client requires a Flat Bed Die Cut Operative to work in a corrugated sheet plant in Shropshire where Know It All is the retained, exclusive recruiter.

• Our client is a successful, independent corrugated Sheet Plant based in Shropshire.

• The operational side of the business is excellent – they are supported operationally by Know It All and have a real commitment to lean manufacturing principles.
• They are well invested and have recently installed a new Maramatsu automatic die cutter.

• Main responsibilities include:

o Operating a Maramatsu automatic die cutter on a 1-shift system (39 hours) – 4.5 days a week.
o This will include setting the die cutter quickly and safely as well as running it at a high speed whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The Person Profile for Flat bed die cut Operative:

• The key experience and knowledge requirements for the role:
o A minimum of 2-3 years experience of working with a corrugated die cutter machine (either a Bobst or Maramatsu machine) (essential)
o Excellent knowledge of setting up a die cutter.
o Good housekeeping skills.

• The key personal behaviours and attitudes required for the role are:
o You will be a reliable individual with a professional attitude.
o Diligence and attention to detail are crucial.
o Good organisational skills.
o The ability to use your initiative.
o Good communication skills and a committed team player.
o Willingness to accept overtime requests when client demand requires it.
o You must be: dependable, passionate and resourceful.
