Job Details: Job title: Business Development Manager Remuneration: £40-45,000 OTE (depending on experience and proven ability), car, laptop and phone. Up to £10k of this OTE is available in the form of a bonus if the successful candidate hits their target – this bonus is uncapped if they exceed budget. Location: National

The Role • The main challenges of the Business Development Manager’s role are: o The successful candidate’s objectives will initially be to win £500k of new business. o After six months of successful new business development (i.e. once the run rate is up to an annualised £500,000), the successful candidate will inherit Account Management responsibility for a number of significant national accounts. o Manage the cost to serve to these key clients, and enhance margins.
Main responsibilities include: o Developing profitable new business in line with the company strategy. o Maintaining and exploring the growth of existing customer accounts.
The Person • The key experience and knowledge requirements for the role of Business Development Manager: o A proven track record of sales results and a pedigree in business development (essential) o Sound knowledge of the print and packaging industry. o The successful candidate MUST have good experience of retail ready packaging and litho in particular.
