Job title: Business Development Manager
Remuneration: £30-40k (depending on experience), fully expensed company car
Location: North / M62 corridor

The Company Our client is a large independent corrugated business with a national delivery footprint. With a strong and stable backer, our client is currently developing market share with a recent energetic re-launch and ongoing sales drive.
Supplying a full range of packaging solutions from micro flute to heavy duty corrugated and a wide market offering, our client is comfortably capable of competing or adding value.  They also have some relatively unique offerings up their sleeve.
Recent investments have seen this business develop a real ‘care’ factor and they are very strong on customer service

The Role This role will be more dependent on business development skills than account management, although some account handling and area territory skills are required. Responsibility for maintaining an areas volume, margin and relationships are required.
An ability to strategically promote the companies offer in to the market place and to investigate and deliver sales in developing products will also be necessary

The Person The person should be driven and enthusiastic with a background within the corrugated industry being essential. Experience of sales for a manufacturing site is essential, and experience of selling for both sheet plants and integrated plants would be a distinct advantage.
An established account manager / business development manager with at least 5 years experience.
Knowledge of the food and drinks market is a benefit, but a broader knowledge is preferred.
Product knowledge is required as well as an established portfolio of relationships that will help deliver opportunity.

Candidates without the above experience need not apply as our client will only consider candidates who can demonstrate a strong career within the corrugated / packaging industry.
