W & M Packaging acquires Cumberland based Kite Packaging Scotland
This recent development will mean that this family-owned company will now be one of the largest independent packaging firms in Scotland.
Smaller companies are finding it difficult to survive in these tough economic times and so the market is consolidating. We expect further acquisitions in what is a fairly fragmented market, which will build stronger businesses. This in turn will benefit local areas by securing jobs and building future employment.
W&M Packaging’s strength is in corrugated and packaging which will really compliment the strong brand of Kite Packaging Scotland, combining services, workforce and management team.
