Diamond Box Enjoys ‘Double Vision’

A shiny, new Bobst Vision Cut die-cutter has been installed and commissioned at Midlands sheet plant Diamond Box, to accommodate sales that continue to dramatically out-grow the market (and are trending an impressive £24m). The new kit complements the existing Bobst Vision and Maramatsu die-cutters which are already in place; giving a third high speed machine for die cut products. With training of crews now out of the way the machine is in full production mode and is already delivering benefits to the customer base in the form of hungry lead times.

CEO Kavi Jundu says “We are very pleased to have been able to make this investment to further increase capacity in what we see as value added and growth markets. Our current Bobst has been working 3 shifts / 7 days a week solid for the past 11 months, so this new one has arrived just in time with the traditionally busy quarter four coming up…and I'm confident we'll be able to maintain best in market lead times as a result.”

Their redoubtable Operations Director (and all round smashing fellow) Martyn Jones is similarly effusive… “I'm delighted to welcome this addition to complement what is an already excellent range of machines. I'm confident that with this new Bobst in place our customers will enjoy a uniform lead time across all products rather than us having to differentiate with die cut lead times.”
