Chinese RCP imports increase by 3.4% in August, up 26.1% year on year

China's total recovered paper (RCP) imports grew 3.4% to approx 2.22m tonnes in August, up from around 2.146m tonnes in July.
That’s a massive 26.1% higher than the 1.761m tonnes recorded in the same month of the previous year.
So far this year, RCP imports have totalled around 17.618m tonnes, up 9% from last year.
