Wiltshire-based recycling company Futur re-brands as SAICA Natur UK
Wiltshire based recycling company Futur Ltd has re-branded to become SAICA Natur UK. The move follows the company's acquisition by Spanish multi-national paper group SAICA in November 2010.
SAICA operates three distinct business units in the UK:
1. SAICA Paper: is a world leader in the manufacturer of recycled containerboard high-performance papers and is currently building the world's most advanced Recycled Paper Mill (PM11) at Partington, Greater Manchester.
2. SAICA Pack: is the packaging division of the company. It operates 16 production facilities in the UK and Ireland and is spearheading the adoption of performance packaging in the UK.
3. SAICA Natur: is the group's waste management division, focusing on the provision of a wide range of recycling and waste management services.
When SAICA Paper's Recycled Paper Mill in Partington is fully operational in early 2012, the company will be able to provide UK manufactured high-performance papers and packaging, sourced wholly in the UK, using 100% UK recycled materials. The recovery of an extra 400.000 tons of UK generated waste will significantly reduce the current outflow of UK waste paper, avoiding hundreds of thousands of tons being shipped to the Far East. This will significantly reduce CO2 emissions associated with the current exportation of UK-derived recovered papers and importation of paper.
Commenting on the re-branding, Simon Dymoke Managing Director of SAICA Natur UK said:
"Since becoming part of SAICA everybody has been working hard to integrate our UK business operations without disrupting the high standards of service to existing Futur customers.
"Everybody at Futur remain genuinely excited to be part of a strong and successful brand which now offers UK customers a complete packaging and recovery solution alongside our existing waste management services.
