China's buys 67% of US recovered paper – a rise of 27% in August

According to US Dept. of Commerce, Bureau of Census figures; China purchased 67% of total US recovered paper exports (14.1 million tonnes through August this year). The 14.1-million-tonne total was up 14.1% compared to August 2010 exports.

Exports to Canada were down 23% and came to 582,289; however, imports from Canada into the USA were up 31% to 549,552 tonnes.
