New Seven Colour Flexo Preprint Press for DS Smith in France
In the spring of 2012, DS Smith will be installing a new seven colour flexo-preprint press at its Velin plant in Western France.
The project is reported to be costing Euro 14 million and will be supplied by Fischer & Krecke.
Velin specialises in serving the FMCG, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, delivering packaging to customers in France, Belgium and Germany. It’s estimated that Velin’s printing capacity will be increased to 200 million m2/yr.
