Europac to hike RCCM prices by Euro 100/tonne From Feb
The Europac Group (Papeles y Cartones de Europa, SA) has announced a €100/ton rise as from February 1. This measure has been taken in response to rising raw material costs and falling European inventories of recycled paper.
Enrique Isidro, Europac's CEO, explains that "the gradual implementation of this price rise will partially claw back the margin impacted by higher prices of raw materials and falling paper sale prices in the last quarter of 2011".
