Pro-Gest increases European recycled containerboard prices Feb 1st
From Feb 1st Pro-Gest will be raising the price of brown grades by Euro 100/tonne and white top test-liner by Euro 70/tonne.
This increase is due to increasing recovered paper prices, which have been driven by an increase in demand. This is unlikely to be the only price rise notification as Pro-Gest anticipate further announcements in the coming months if demand for recovered paper continues to grow.
Hamburger Group, SCA and Europac have also announced similar plans to raise their recycled containerboard prices, with SCA also increasing its Kraft liner prices by Euro 80/tonne from March 1st.
