Candidate 001 - Midlands Salesman
- Proven & experienced corrugated sales ‘all rounder’
- Exceptional contacts within corrugated and ancillary packaging.
- Candidate 1 also has proven ‘key account management’ skills for some major integrated businesses.
- An excellent knowledge of the market place, quite literally covering the East & West Midlands is only part of the tale, takes pride in holding onto account base and has successfully grown territories for all of previous employers.
Candidate 002- Successful North England/Scotland Corrugated Sales Manager
- Very hard working and very active Sales Manager that is capable of delivering significant growth.
- Through their drive and ambition to succeed has added nearly 20% of new business for their current employer - already won £400k new business this year (in the bag!)
- Has had the benefit of sitting on the other side of the table as a buyer of corrugated and flexible packaging.
- Extremely easy going, is well liked by their account base and very well known in the North and Scotland as a business winner.
- Overall candidate 2 will be a real asset to an integrated site or reasonably kitted sheet plant (case maker!)
Candidate 003- Experienced Corrugated Design Manager from Yorkshire
- A very experienced and loyal Corrugated Design Manager; been designing packaging for over 14 years!
- This candidate has an eye both the innovative world of new design and the structured methodology of cost effective manufacturing.
- As a person with experience of both he believes he has a very balanced approach to assessing customer requirements and needs.
- Ensure his customers get what they want but equally the need to keep operations at maximum efficiency is just as paramount.
- An expert in Artios CAD and very experienced in AG-CAD. Familiar with Apple Mac software such as Illustrator, In-Design and Cape-Pack software.
- Extensive working knowledge of flexographic printing inks and creation of flexographic printing plates.
Candidate 004 - Experienced Key Account Manager and Sales Manager (within 2-3 hours of the South West)
- Candidate four simply oozes competent professionalism and is irrepressibly outgoing – with more energy than you can shake a stick at; customers and colleagues alike immediately take to him.
- Your new business targets and key accounts will be in the safest of hands. If there are additional sales to be had from your existing customers – Candidate four will use his winning sales approach (supported by a blend of tenacity and charm) to grow your share of the business.
- Candidate four has performed admirably in business development, account management and management roles in corrugated markets for decades:
- At Smurfit he grew his sales area from £5m to £8m.
- At Danisco he grew sheet sales by 40% to £7m within months before being promptly promoted.
- At SCA he grew his £1m turnover to over £5m.
- He grew his sales area to £5m at Corrugated Products.
- A career that started as an engineer honed his already excellent attention to detail. His business acumen has been sharpened by an ‘A’ Level in Business Studies, which he gained in 2000.
- He is very IT literate and is fluent with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Hence he’s a dab hand at managing tenders, maintaining client databases, mail shots and drafting brochures and presentations.
- Candidate four and his wife are moving back to the UK (after four years in Cyprus) to be nearer their family. Hence he would be happy to work anywhere in the UK – although within 2-3 hours of the South West would be nice.
- He is looking for a salary of £30-40,000 for an external business development role or £25,000+ for an internal management role (Commercial Management or Sales Office Management).
